4 Best Places to Visit on your One-Day Trip to Disneyland
One of the best things about Disneyland is that there is no age restriction, it's just about having fun. The second best thing is that the fun there almost seems infinite. The whole of Disneyland is so huge, up to 500 acres, that it is the same size as the city of San Francisco. A person can get confused thinking about where to wander about in an area this huge so here are four of the best places to visit if you are on a one-day trip to the magical place.
1. There has been a new addition to the Disneyland ride and that is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It is very popular and you need to go through very difficult reservations to even make it to the ride. Unless you're living under a rock and have not watched any of the Star Wars movies, you would know how wickedly fun it would be to get to be a part of the Star Wars world. It will be a simulation, where you get to interact with the characters, the humans, and the droids, and you will be helping the First Order and fight The Resistance and escape. It is definitely an experience that should be at the start of your list.
2. Next is the Pirates of the Caribbean and it is the longest ride of them all and also very popular. Like Star Wars, it is also a first-person simulation. In the ride, you’ll board a barge and you’ll float through segments, including a pirate raid. The characters will be interacting with you as well. The ride will finish with you wishing you could be a pirate one day.
3. Whether you are an easy scaredy-cat or not, the Haunted Mansion will make sure to give you a scare at least once. You will embark on the tour on a buggy and you will get to pass through clattering caskets, the Grand Ballroom, a séance room, and you'll encounter hitchhiking ghosts who will try to follow you out. The ride also upgrades to Haunted Mansion Holiday during Halloween and Christmas.
4. Roller coasters never get boring, especially Space Mountain which is another Disneyland ride with a space theme. You’ll board a rocket and endure through nebulas and bright stars while experiencing sharp turns and twists. The soundtrack in the background is by Michael Giacchino and the ride is almost in darkness which makes it feel faster than it actually is. Who would want to miss that now?
